Good Works
- Community Awareness
Good Neighbors assists long term care facilities with website development to increase awareness within local communities about elderly neighbors and the facilities in which they live.
- Community Integration
Good Neighbors assists with the development of intergenerational experiences to promote a sense of connection to younger members of the community (art groups with local school children, for instance), who are also at risk for isolation outside their peer group, and through photography and counseling projects that help establish a sense of connection to staff members, fellow residents, and as community peers.
- Counseling Services
Good Neighbors provides counseling consulting and counseling interventions to facilitate improved staff/resident interactions, and to address mood and behavior disturbances that could impact staff's performance and residents quality of life.
